Parents seeking a full or part-time nanny may call us for pre-screened, qualified nannies that meet their family’s needs and lifestyle requirements. Once a family has interview the applicants, they will contract individually with that nanny candidate. We also act as a job hunter for nannies seeking a employment. Our objective is to help match each qualified nanny with a family, as well as helping families meet their childcare needs.
Nannies undergo a rigorous screening procedure. Each nanny provides 3 references, 3 years of previous service with children, undergoes a criminal and FBI background check, and completes a personal interview. The Asheville Area Nanny Network uses Castle Branch for all our screening.
Once placed with a family, the nanny and their family will contact the Nanny Network and we will have both parties sign a family agreement. This is a small document tailored to each family that explains and lists the nanny's duties. This document is intended to help families and their nannies work together. They will also receive a monthly newsletter with nanny/child events in the area, nanny nights out, and educational material. These offer support and continuing education to our nannies.
Asheville Area Nanny Network also has a temporary service. In case a family needs a nanny at short notice due to child illness, care giver illness, or any other situation they can call and hire a temporary nanny. These nannies undergo the same screening as a full or part-time nanny. This service is also available to families that are traveling in our beautiful mountains.
